    Dear Marc,

Thanks so much for your appreciation of “Love Me Like A Rock” - My mother sure loved that recording. She used to sing it in the kitchen on Sunday morning while cooking. We’d sing it together. She’d say “I know you made that song for me” - Well I left The Persuasions after 40 years & 22 albums & have just recorded the masterpiece of my
a cappella career. I hope you’ll get around to checking it out Marc. 20 tracks, an hour of music & a 20 page booklet. Not braggin’ but I’ve done lots of great feel good stuff since “Love Me Like A Rock”. Send me your email & I’ll send you some MP3s

    Take Care & God Bless

I love your list of songs - will certainly add them to my playlist as well.

I love listening to Better Now by Collective Soul and It’s My Life by Bon Jovi. They make me happy AND get out of my chair!

Theres nothing like a good dance around the room to brighten up your day!

    Cheers!

Hi - not a boomer, came to your site through flylady. Two of my fave happy songs that are not already listed are:
    Beautiful Day by U2
    New Sensation by INXS

I also like “I Love a Rainy Night” by Eddie Rabbit and “So What?” by Pink.

My nine year old thinks “Ain’t Talkin’ ’bout Love” by Van Halen is a happy song, but that is his favorite song, so not sure if it counts for your purposes!

Smile! Sharon <-admitted NPR junkie and lover of “Love Me Like a Rock”…

Upper tunes from a moldy oldie. LOL

    Windy - The Association
    William Tell Overture
A Fifth of Beetovan (the jazz arrangement of Beetovan’s Fifth)

CAUTION: these tunes played at high volume on your eight track with the sunroof open causes speeding tickets.

I have a number of mixed tapes and CD’s that I use to cheer myself up or get me motivated. My favourite one that I usually use as the cool down on my workout mixed CD is “I’m going all the way” by Sounds of Blackness. The vocalist is amazing and the words are truly inspirational and comforting “I may be down sometimes, but I won’t be down always.”

Thanks for your list and your inspiring videos.
