Good one, Marc! You nailed it. Not only did I personally want to sit on your hands in past videos (all proper and such), but you have hypnotized me to not let this annoying behavior bother me in the future.
Oh, my! This, most recent video, left me laughing so hard I almost “urinated inappropriately!” I especially liked the Amazing Slotkin’s hypnotic suggestions. I, too, use my hands to talk. But here’ the thing…. only when I am in COURT! (I’m a lawyer). I think it has to do with trying to emphasize a point and not being able to receive feedback from your audience….in your case all us video watchers and in my case, the impassive, stone-faced (or should I say poker-faced) judge. Good luck with hypnotizing all of the annoyed audience. (I, for one, never even noticed your “offending” hand gestures)
I love your videos! They bring a real smile to my day! Thank you Marc and Marla for getting together and introducing your videos to me. Now if I can just remember where I left my sense of humor?!?!?!
don’t stop using your hands! Using our hands while we speak makes what we say come alive. Ever watched somebody standing still like a column and delivering a good speech?
I’m 50 and still haven’t!
Hey Marc – dont change! Its part of what makes you. I too talk with my hands and have been chided for it. I wont change because I think it helps me express myself better. No … Im not using inappropriate hand gestures. It just helps show passion atbout what I’m talking about.

Dear Marc,
don’t stop using your hands! Using our hands while we speak makes what we say come alive. Ever watched somebody standing still like a column and delivering a good speech?

PS: I enjoy your humor every week. Thank you!

Dear Marc,
I love your videos and have a new appreciation for sit-coms.
I also talk with my hands all the time.
However, I feel with this last video you are beginning to “lose it” a little. Perhaps those comments hit a sore spot.
Not to hurt your feelings, but…maybe you need a vacation? Or, perhaps, you could share a video on “Vacations”. It is summertime, after all!
Looking forward to your next video and many more.
Danielle
