This may be a duplicate — had trouble figuring out how to send the comment.
Marc’s video on senioritus was really a lot of fun. I didn’t know about pre-made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! I loved the description “Industrial Varnish” for apples.
However, this being Marc’s 3rd child going through the senior yr at high school, he must know that the issues keep coming when they go off to college, e.g., having your kid come out of the apartment building in the morning at UCLA and seeing that the entire car has been removed and is gone except for the basic frame, tuition keeps going up, you visit your kid and see 5 kids out in the street beating up a 6th kid etc.
I look forward to Marc’s take on the parent’s college experience.

Ah, brings back the memories…(This from my ancient 25-year old son.)
OK, Marc, I have a few words of encouragement and advice:
Grandchildren are your reward for not killing your kids.
Don’t forget that old blessing (or curse, depending):
May you have children just like yourself.
And we haven’t even touched on:
You’re not the boss of me!! (Screamed by a five-year old.)
So don’t worry, Marc, your kids and theirs will continue to provide you with humorous inspiration for years to come, and I and my fellow Boomers will look forward to enjoying it all with you!!

Marc, maybe if you would take a toke on that substance you tell you daughter isn’t good for her. But if you are like me you would end up trying to take your pants off over your head.

There is life after children! Can you imagine being able to watch an entire TV show without "Dad, she's looking at me"? Just enjoy the quiet. My daughter called one time after being at college a week and we didn't answer her message on the machine was "Oh sure, I leave and you get a life:" There are still fun times.

When my youngest went away to college, my husband and I moved and forgot to give him the new address- oops…
Don't worry about missing them, in this economy they will most likely come back to live with you after they finish college!
