I took my kids to our first Zumba class last week and LOVED it. Must be jelly coz jam don't shake like that. Our second visit, scheduled for last night, was postponed due to the heavens opening with golf-ball sized hail, flash-flooding, thunderstorm – no really, it's not an excuse, I LOVE zumba.
Well Ramon…I mean Marc….thanks for sharing your experience with us…As a Zumba instructor I love hearing experiences, especially from men that are a bit skeptical. Welcome to the Zumba addiction and if you are ever in NJ stop by my class
I was disappointed there was no actual footage of Marc in the Zumba class. I'm a boomer gal and have taken an occasional Zumba class. The class generally appeals to the twenty-somethings at the Y but some of us "seasoned" women have joined in on the fun. We all feel like klutzes at times in our lives but once you get in class and the music starts, it just fun to move with the music and do what you can. So what if my hips don't swivel like the instructor's or I feel as graceful as the Tin Man. I have seen a brave man join the class once. He looked like he was having fun but truthfully I haven't seen him back again. But you know, I applaud him and the rest of us boomers for stepping out of our comfort zone and like you, Marc, trying something new.
