For example, I've got one of the new smart phones, and love it. It does more stuff than I'll ever need for it to do, but what it does, it does well, and it does it easily. My OLD cell phone, however, was a hateful piece of junk. It could do stuff too--I never found out exactly what--but to make it work you had to work two magic buttons marked only with runes, to scroll through God knows how many menus, and if you ever took a wrong turn, you were lost forever. But this much is true: Cokes tasted different, and better, back when they cost a nickel. The problem isn’t so much change, as it is premature change.
