“Attitude Served Daily” – on Boomer Alley, it’s not just a slogan. Okay, it is just a slogan, but it’s what you’re going to get on Boomer Alley: consistently entertaining, professional grade, irreverent look at the world of the Baby Boomers.
Boomer Alley is written, produced, and performed by Marc Sotkin. Marc began his writing career in 1976 and has been a staff writer and producer on more than 350 episodes of various situation comedies for every television network. His credits include Laverne & Shirley, The Golden Girls, as well as co-writing and producing two Garry Shandling specials for Showtime. He has been honored with multiple Emmy, Golden Globe and Cable Ace award nominations and has won a prestigious Writers Guild Award.
Video editing and digital collage graphics for Boomer Alley are the work of our producer, Norma McGraw who has been working in digital media since 1990. In addition to Boomer Alley, she edits and produces promotional videos for non-profit organizations.
Sharon is a witty writer/producer and performer who makes sense out of life’s Big – and not so big – questions. A graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, she’s worked as Copy Director, MTV Networks, performed her solo shows around the country and won the Gracie Award for her humorous topical radio essays more. Sharon’s voice-over work includes Lifetime Television, where she announced shows like The Golden Girls (which Marc wrote. How cosmic is that?) When she’s not hanging out with Marc, she plays fiddle in her band, The Jamesons. She can see and hear more of her work at http://sharonglassman.com
